Sunday School for children ages 3 through high school Sundays from 9:45 - 10:30 a.m. Rally Day (Kick-Off for the Fall Christian Education Programs) is September 16, 2007
Sunday School is a developmentally appropriate look at the stories of the Bible and the life of Jesus, involving the children in learning and singing. We use a variety of learning techniques to help the children learn about their faith and have an enjoyable experience at the same time.
Our students in the Sunday School program are currently studying the “Our Life in Christ” curriculum published by Concordia Publishing House. Throughout the September through May session the students will learn about some Old Testament figures such as David, Solomon, Daniel, and many more, as well as preparing for Christ’s arrival and His ministry here on earth. Each lesson will be Christ-centered, Bible-based, life-directed, and family connected. Sunday School is available for all children ages 3-12th grade. All of our classes have been broken down into developmentally appropriate groups.
If you have any questions regarding how to be a part of this faith-forming experience, please contact Director of Christian Education, Heidi Mielke , or call her church office (317) 823-5801 x222.
