Don’t Just GO to Church; BE the Church
A weekend of serving our community in the name of Jesus will take place
April 19 & 20, 2008.

In an effort to BE the church in our area, many different kinds of serving events are being planned... from planting a park to remodeling a group home, and painting Lutherwood dorm rooms to visiting with nursing home residents. It is hoped that as many of our members and friends as possible will participate to BE Jesus in the Geist/Lawrence area. The community is invited to join us as we gather together to make a lasting difference.

“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” Mark 10:44-45

Everyone is welcome to participate in this weekend of serving & caring. Indicate your

 Saturday, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
 Sunday, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Step 3 - Choose the PLACE of Service you prefer
 “Let’s Make Their Day” - Westminster Village, assisting Senior Citizens and
     landscaping the grounds
 “Let’s Clean It Up” - Lawrence Neighborhood Clean-up
 “Let’s Add Color” - Painting the Dorms at Lutherwood Children’s Home
 “Let’s Let Them Play” - Lawrence Parks, painting, cleaning, mulching
 “Let’s Make It Beautiful” - Post Road Improvements, a partnership project with Craig
     Middle School to beautify the area.
